Do you want that your name should be flashed in place of that boring "my computer" on your desktop? Then get ready to play with the registry...this is really simple! Just follow the step written below....
1. First of all go to 'start' and select 'run'.
2.Now type 'regedit' to open the registry.
3. Now select HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\shellnoroam\MUIcache
4.Now go to the edit menu at the top of the window and select find and type 'my computer' or 'recycle bin' or any other name and press enter.
4.Now right click and select modify and change the name to whatever you want!
Now go to your desktop and refresh it once and you will find the changes in the name. This can be done with any of the recycle bin or my documents or my network places etc just keep on finding them in the edit menu! Enjoy !
